Fausto is pretty underrated, I've enjoyed his drawings since quite a long time now. I think he has true talent for making stuff look genuinely funny. As soon as he starts working on secuential media (like comics or animation), people will realize his true potential.

Apart from the sweet rendering, I love how much did you work in making the characters resemble the way Liberatore drew them. It would be easy recognize RanX, there are not many ape-faced androids in round glasses with a toupeé... But Lubna... Damn, she really looks like Lubna. You nailed even that pale heroin-addict skin tone of hers.
Great piece... You've brightened my day with this one.

P.S: Don't forget about Tamburini! He's also deserving of the love, too!

(Side note: the separation between nose and mouth gives personality to the drawing and add much resemblance to the model. I had noticed that already in previous self-portraits of yours, I'm glad you seem aware of that also!)

Why? Because that and Drowzee are based on the japanese concept of the "Baku", which is a dream-eating... tapir. (Remember Tapirmon/Bakumon?)
And giving the fact that pre-evolutionary Pokemon tend to be designed as baby-like versions of their future incarnations... Could you think of it otherwise?

I'm not prone to fanboyism bursts...

... But I swear to Gawd, I thought he was Abobo. I'm really tempted to ask you to add him a big moustache and join the upcoming "Abobo Craze".
But personal love affairs aside, I can't help to dig this. It's my type of character totally... And yes, the Art cycle demands that "realism" to be trendy again, not just in 3D art.
Anyways, you keep doing cool characters.

The way you draw me reminds me of a certain samurai who got stranded in a distant future... But that's appropiate given the fact Hex will also end up like that.
One day I will also do a picture of him... Hope it can be of your liking!
