Sweet Mother of Gawd...

You made a Tarantula look cute.
NOW YOU'RE MY FUCKIN' HERO.

Weird Science!

As a Frankenstein lover, I feel obliged to express how do I like your interpretation of this archetype. I love that face with the badass grin (Maybe because, disturbingly enough, I find some features similar to... mine. Gulp.) and that do is übercool. I find funny the pointy ear, but it makes me think you'll probably are putting the history in a heroic-fantasy-gothic setting. And surprisingly enough, I'm liking it.
Sorry for not commenting too much on the technical aspect. I love it and if there's something wrong, I don't wanna bother looking for it.
One last thing: After reading your story... Wouldn't you have thought swapping Victor for Victoria?

arvalis responds:

Thanks so much for the nice words my friend. Honestly i really like your Victoria idea a lot. The doctor was the only character of the three that i dont have a concept for yet. I will definitely try out a female concept now. As far as the long ear, he has various other creature parts, the eye came from a demon so i figure the ear came with it. Notice the long claws on one hand and the clawed toes :P

FULL MOON POWER!!!

I love it! That cotton legs are super-charming, they remind me much of Ryusuke Mita, one of my favourite mangaka! The flocking p-tails look gorgeous, the sakura background is rad and you really nailed the eye design!
One tip about eyelashes: It's cool to match hair and eyelashes, but it looks weird with certain colours. (blondes suffer particularly...) But recently I found kind of an agreement: eyelashes look still good with a high K percentage. With 100%, it should be black, but a trace of the original color still can be noticed. If you lower the percentage of K, you can make the color stand out more. Just give it a try, I made it in my latest two illustrations and I'm really satisfied with the results!
'Till next time!

PixelCake responds:

thanks for the tips :D

I agree!

That head is REALLY self-explanatory! I really love it...
I also like the foot pads (Ahh... Kazuya...) with... SPURS?!?! But where do they...?
Better not to think too much about it... It's the magic of the Animoid Universe (Not to be mistaken with the Anime Universe).
I can see this guy fitting in Girl-chan. He is referential and goofy enough to deserve a place there. Nice design!
P.S: Shiny head is better!

Great redesign!

You got us already accustomed to showcase excellent design ideas mixing colors, textures and deceivingly sketchy outlining combined with actual knowledge of how to draw properly that conform one of the most distinguished styles from the NG Art Portal. And this picture is another sample of that.
But there's something in this redesign that really impressed me. You haven't used a faceplate. There's the mohawk/nose plate, the cheek ones, the eyes and Blam! There's MindChamber's face!
You've reduced its face to minimal, abstract elements and yet it's totally recognizable... I just can't resist that witty solutions!

I love this close-up

That, and the texture and the colors makes a really powerful image.
Looks like I'm not going to forget this picture anytime soon...
Excellent!

Araelyn responds:

Aw thanks for the awesome review! I'm flattered :3

Printed AND framed.

'Cause, you know, there are interesting reliefs at the background... that deserve to be fully appreciated... and it'd be easier on 300 dpi.
If you know what I mean... ; )
... And if you don't: CONTACT TOM, DAMMIT. O:<

This design is really clever.

I love how colors and shapes combine to create something that we can recognize as "a girl with cross-puplis" , but we realize it's not human because of details like that blue separation between the legs, the black (and I mean BLACK) skin or the sparkling, fiery skirt that seems to move...
Few times your style has adapted so well to a character. The more I look at it, the more I like it. I must say this one is a real success. Excellent!

PixelCake responds:

She only has one leg ;)
Thanks Joe <3

Brittany?!?

I find hard to believe this isn't a movie caption...
Seems like a really good photomanipulation. More info, please!
...
But anyway, what V he V said.

Razac responds:

I dunno what to say... I diddnt screen shot a still from a bluray copy of the chipmunk movie and manipulated it if thats what you're asking.

Just time and patience and a 1-3 pixel brush in photoshop.

The jeans required some texture work, photoshop has a nice collection of texture overlays you can play around with and mix up to make the texture you want. The stitching on the jeans was just a custom brush making the steps far apart, then just making a path and applying a stroke to it....instant stitch.

hair and fur was just a few lines of colour, then a 1 pixel smudge brush.

The whole thing from start to finish probably took about 15-20 hours.

Worth worshipping.

I don't know if she can get any cooler than this. The brass colour fits her really well and the spiral carvings on her shoulders really add the extra detail she needed, probably something similar in the lower limbs and I'd say you have her ready to go.
And the background make you dream of the surreal journeys this character may undergo and makes you think on if the environment reacts to the character or viceversa.
My dear sir, congratulations: You have resurrected the spirit of Metal Hurlant.

AbominableGod responds:

Thanks for the review. Never heard of Metal Hurlant before but i looked it up, weird looking stuff
