Oh Gawd... Ryuh?

I can't help to shed a tear for the good ol' times... Didn't know about this one, though, I knew very little of your work prior to "MadMad Gakkou".
That composition, with the kinda fading lineart of a posse of main characters makes me think of Yoshihiro Togashi...
La cabra tira al monte, eh?
They look so cool, dammit.

Spidercat is TEH BEST!

The idea wins me wholly. Using the thumbnail as part of the picture was really hard, but you manage to do something really great with it.
The long tongue is used to catch spidermice, of course! But spidermouse should have an equally stoopid face than the s-cat...
But, heck, this piece is a winner.

Jobertson responds:

hahah, i'll try and go that bit EXTRA crazy with the faces next time,
thanks Joe :D

This time you really excelled yourself.

Nice composition and really well applied colors for the shading. That characters look really pretty (That square lashes a-la-Lynn Naylor are so charming.). I'm not a fan of that textures you're using lately, but this time it works fine.
I think it'd look better removing the text and cropping the extra space up & down, but hey, probably it's just me.
Congratulations, Mandie! Just keep on the artin'!

Yeah, that's how I like them.

Well, not exclusively like this one... But there was a while since the last time I saw that braided hair+generous cleavage combination...
And I just love the casual simplicity of the drawing.
Nice work, man!

peixeaquatico responds:

:<> THANKS

Making John Willie proud.

The drawing itself is just correct. There's a couple of details that makes the work lose a bit of flair, like the lady head, it's either too broad or the eyes seem lost in the middle of it. And maybe the drawing is a bit small, cause the line is quite thick and the small details suffer because of it. The nipples look really bad because of this... And the bird almost can't be seen, too small ans lost among other white spaces that draw the attention out of it. Though looking a bit dirty, the shading is really good and makes an excellent work of conveying fabrics and textures, and the proportions of the body are fairly good-looking.
As I told before, as an illustration, it still lacks punch...
... But as a fashion sketch, it works all right.
What I really want to highlight about this picture is that the design of the suit is absolutely terrific. It's a gorgeous BDSM dress that I can't help to adore. The leather and rings makes it very fetishistic, while the feathers and the shoulder lace add a lot of beauty to the design. Expose the nipples and crotch to bring out the sexy nature of it, and complete it all with the birdcage helmet... Excellent presentation idea bringing a bird in the model's hands.
Man, be careful. Some designer could totally steal this. Stay aware.

Zalrohg responds:

thanks. this is more stylized then my still lives. but the concept was what i was aiming for and im glad i got it down. this isnt the final version. il touch it up, =)

So funny!

I liked how you turned the Fulp bros into the Fulp twins...
And something about Jeff: The times I've tried to make NG staff members caricatures I've always encountered a big issue with him: I think he may have had one of those japanese curses cast on him.
I mean, all the photoes I managed to get from him, he appears blurred, out of frame, or something/somebody gets in-between him and the lens. THAT CAN'T BE INTENTIONAL EVERY FUCKING TIME. So his true appearance remains as a mystery to me...
...Oh, that Paul!

Sheller responds:

Utah's damned good at hiding his face; I hear he always shows up to cons with a cap and his head down, never giving anyone time to take photos or strike up much conversation with him unless they're major NG players.

And thanks, man. Means a lot coming from someone who isn't a piece of shit like Cory.

"Another cleavage thumbnail?"

"Nah, I'm not gonna fall for that anymore... Oh, wait a minute, is it Holimount's? Then hellz yea, I'm clicking."
I liked to see something non-digital from you for once, the way you rendered the half tones is very cool. I'm also digging that face, she looks like a nice, funny girl. The ear doesn't look good at all... That's a real pity.
You know, I also like to sketch the women's bust using just one curve lately. It's useful to make cool tricks regarding, um, "inertial mass movement". You know what I mean.
And finally, who could blame you for thinking about boobs in school, honestly?

Ooh, tough guy.

Hahah, you nailed it! I got my good laffs when I saw this guy in the game, with all his gay-leather looks. Still, Rob's role as Lionwhyte was even better (Actually, one of the best characters of that game). I loved how Mr Halford's voice was put to good use with that big bad haired guy.
You have pleased the Metal Gods, indeed. (Receive 20 Fire Tributes!)

TheShadling responds:

Someone know what the fuck hes talking about, Hell yes man!

Outing.

So... Like totally out of the closet now, aren't we feeling today?
... Anyways, Happy Sucho's Day!

sucho responds:

hahaha, ten-to-one people will still be confused. the two people that bother to read blurbs on user pages

..hmm yeh..i probably should have waited just to post this on my b-day, but who knows if my blue mulletish thing will have stuck around for that

You know how to turn her on...

... Now that you have watched the series already... I don't have seen the animation, but I keep fond memories of the comic. It's really interesting to watch your personal interpretation of Chii's facial features... Maybe that perfectly straight nose is what gives her away as an artificial being rather than the metal earmuffs!
I also find her smile suspicious... It's lovely, but... Doesn't it means anything else...?
Ahh, enough chatter for geeks. This picture is charming, and that pose fits the character perfectly! Welcome back to the block, buddy!
