'Cause, you know, there are interesting reliefs at the background... that deserve to be fully appreciated... and it'd be easier on 300 dpi.
If you know what I mean... ; )

This design is really clever.
I love how colors and shapes combine to create something that we can recognize as "a girl with cross-puplis" , but we realize it's not human because of details like that blue separation between the legs, the black (and I mean BLACK) skin or the sparkling, fiery skirt that seems to move...
Few times your style has adapted so well to a character. The more I look at it, the more I like it. I must say this one is a real success. Excellent!
She only has one leg ;)
Thanks Joe <3
Brittany?!?
I find hard to believe this isn't a movie caption...
Seems like a really good photomanipulation. More info, please!
...
But anyway, what V he V said.
I dunno what to say... I diddnt screen shot a still from a bluray copy of the chipmunk movie and manipulated it if thats what you're asking.
Just time and patience and a 1-3 pixel brush in photoshop.
The jeans required some texture work, photoshop has a nice collection of texture overlays you can play around with and mix up to make the texture you want. The stitching on the jeans was just a custom brush making the steps far apart, then just making a path and applying a stroke to it....instant stitch.
hair and fur was just a few lines of colour, then a 1 pixel smudge brush.
The whole thing from start to finish probably took about 15-20 hours.
Worth worshipping.
I don't know if she can get any cooler than this. The brass colour fits her really well and the spiral carvings on her shoulders really add the extra detail she needed, probably something similar in the lower limbs and I'd say you have her ready to go.
And the background make you dream of the surreal journeys this character may undergo and makes you think on if the environment reacts to the character or viceversa.
My dear sir, congratulations: You have resurrected the spirit of Metal Hurlant.
Thanks for the review. Never heard of Metal Hurlant before but i looked it up, weird looking stuff
(Pat in your shoulder)
I've also done it. So you're not alone.
[Now awaiting volume 6...]
The reason? Punishment!
She deserves that and much more for playing a fighting game using the ANALOG THUMBSTICK.
No wonder why she always fail at fighting. LOL.
Cool style, bro. Cheers!
ALSO: Share some info about the brushpen, please... I've just googled what they really are and, dammit, NOW I'm really interested.
a brushpen is basically just an inking pen with a brush tip. Get all the flair of inking with a brush, but with a little more control.
A BizarroJoe's Wet Dream.
[The setting: some generic comic con in a place unknown. BizarroJoe is scribbling some doodles in a huge paper hanged in a wall for public use. And he's doing it like ass, as usual.)
AgumonGirl: Hey, you make cute drawings!!!
BizarroJoe: ?!? ...And you're in an Agumon costume....!
AG: My!!! You like DigiMon?!?
BJ: "Like"...? Dammit, girl; I LOVE DigiMon! DigiMon Adventures was an amazing TV series... Great characters designs, terrific critters... And how can you not love a series that starts like any generic kiddie show a-la-"Power Rangers" and ends like "Evangelion"? And Zero-Two was a terrific sequel! And Tamers and Frontier were also really cool! Data Squad's not so good... But it's OK, I guess...
AG: Kyaaa <3... So You REALLY care!
BJ: Yeah, I'm still a bit crazy about DigiMon... I even bought some of the gadgets and I have many chibi figurines at my place, even some hard-to-find ones and...
AG: REALLY?!? Can I see them?
BJ: ?!? What, the figurines? Well, as I told you they're at my place and...
AG: Then, let's go!
BJ: To my place?!
AG: YES!!!
BJ: (Heck, I must be crazy. A stranger in my house. I'll be lucky if I don't get clubbed and robbed today.)
[Now, there's one of those sudden changes of place and time that feel natural when in dreams, but don't make any fuckin' sense when you really think about' em. DON'T YOU ACT AS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.]
BJ: Well, here we are, my room...
AG: Aaaah... So here's where the "magic" works... *tee-hee*
BJ: Yes, here's where I do my drawings... Make yourself at home... Those figures must be in one of these drawers...
AG: My, isn't getting hot in here...?
BJ: In october and with the heating off? I don't think so... Ah, here they are! MagnaAngemon, Angewomon, MetalEtemon, GranKuwagamon... And the star of my collection: A MarineDevimon! Here, have a look, check theEEEESSsseee...
...
[Look the picture again]
[Have you REALLY read all this bulk of text?!]
[And now you're expecting sex? What did you think is this, a copy-pasted porn story ?!? Who do you think am I, a fucking net troll?!?]
[Gosh.]
You crazy person and your crazy sex fantasies! Romance doesn't work that way! Unless its, like, with a hooker or something.
Thanks for the story though!
If Mandie and me had babies...
...Mr. LeScum would have some SERIOUS objections to make about that matter. Really.
...
Now, I can't really express how flattered and honored I feel about your words...
So hard that, between this line and the one above several minutes have passed and I don't really know what to say yet...
Naaah... Hell with fancy words! I love' em! They're charming, lovely and [CUTE] and [ADORABLE]!
A thing I particularly fancy about this picture is how each characters has a distinctive color palette that revolves around 3-4 primary colors... Don't know if these are custom characters or ready-to-play ones from CoH/CoV... But the way you used this feat is what really matters this time.
... And to me, it also works as a review from my work so far... Maybe because this comes in a moment I'm trying to figure out how to improve on my work...
Thank you very much, Sab!!! 'Later!
AWWGH I MISSED YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!1! :V
Stupid internet explorer.. Did you have that problem too?
I was in Newgrounds withdrawl for like two months. To put it plainly, not being able to submit art was mostly why I drew this.
I don't know what it is. I just get way more support and inspiration from the community on Newgrounds. So, thankYOU! c:
Also, Yes! They all happen to be City of Villains characters. x3
...All level caps.. D: All like 72 hours of my life down the drain. ^^;; hahaha
I say, we can dance, we can dance
Why don't you get 'tarded too?
we can dance, we can dance
Everybody doin' the taa-a-a-rd
Safety hats!
Safety hats!
Safety hats!
Safety hats!
HA!
This one's really pretty.
You got the most of that colour markers. I love mixing recognisable objects with abstract shapes. And making that with the hair of a pretty lady's head is a trick that never gets old.
Very good!
