Haha, between the eyepatch and the katana sword, it seems like Tink's cosplaying Jubei-chan!
Still, I feel like the design lacks something... Maybe adding some kind of apparel, like a badge, a belt or another hairstyle... smoething like that.
The style is really cool anyway. Be sure to call me if you draw this li'l pixy again.

This year's has been Rainbow Brite's 25th anniversary and she haven't received the homage she deserves yet!
It's interesting that new dress. Much better than that "Polly pocket" that Playmates is about to release...

its a few textures that i layered and repeated and shaded to look like...a..stack of.. .something?

i was thinking of making it look like a wanted poster but i never got around to it.
i have some pictures of him, but i hesitate to upload because i'll be selling them as prints in the con art show and i dont know how to post here and not have people steal and make their own prints and such. i guess i should diminish the quality.

Optimum choice of colors and lovely character.
Seems like youngsters acting like children have become a recurrent trait of your work... I can't see what'll be next!
BTW, you've got the most of that lined paper. the blue lines smugded by the water blend with the picture perfectly... Maybe the color "blue" got stuck in your head when creating the picture(I suppose that's why the guy wears an eskimo-like coat).

Oldie Goldie.

Back in 1996, some spanish youngsters who have already bought or were about to buy a PSX made up another artificial, futile comparison to pass hours and hours droning an' blabbering: Resident Evil Vs. Tomb Raider.
I remember I said: "Resident Evil has all the atmosphere and look of the zombie movies I love, what has Tomb Raider to offer? A female archaelogist with insanely massive boobs?!? FEH!"
When I got my own PSX came packed with Tomb Raider. And I learnt not to open my fucking mouth again before playing myself a game. Live and learn.

P.S: Love the boots, yeah, I've said the BOOTS. They're übercool.

I remembered this funny image from the Art Forum...
I found the topic very interesting and I found a pity nobody seemed to contribute. Maybe one day I'll bump it myself...
Another thing that I liked very much about this picture is the color blending. It shows appreciation for the subject you're painting. Without you saying it, people could say it's your girlfriend...

How do you actually can draw something that I would TOTALLY, with time, have asked you to draw if I had the guts to ask for it, when I hasn't even thought of it?
You're not only artistically talented... You're specially "gifted" too, and should go to Xavier's school to develop that ability...
