Tender Coolness.

Optimum choice of colors and lovely character.
Seems like youngsters acting like children have become a recurrent trait of your work... I can't see what'll be next!
BTW, you've got the most of that lined paper. the blue lines smugded by the water blend with the picture perfectly... Maybe the color "blue" got stuck in your head when creating the picture(I suppose that's why the guy wears an eskimo-like coat).

Horray for you.

iter-intergalactic responds:

Thank you very much for your comment !
Cheers

Oldie Goldie.

Back in 1996, some spanish youngsters who have already bought or were about to buy a PSX made up another artificial, futile comparison to pass hours and hours droning an' blabbering: Resident Evil Vs. Tomb Raider.
I remember I said: "Resident Evil has all the atmosphere and look of the zombie movies I love, what has Tomb Raider to offer? A female archaelogist with insanely massive boobs?!? FEH!"
When I got my own PSX came packed with Tomb Raider. And I learnt not to open my fucking mouth again before playing myself a game. Live and learn.

P.S: Love the boots, yeah, I've said the BOOTS. They're übercool.

MindChamber responds:

lol!

Anyway...

This should be the looks for the New Rainbow Brite 2009.
It's a pity that it seems too late for that.
But, anyway, I love this image. Congratulations!

Mrew responds:

Haha, thanks. XD

Fetish Finders-Keepers.

I remembered this funny image from the Art Forum...
I found the topic very interesting and I found a pity nobody seemed to contribute. Maybe one day I'll bump it myself...
Another thing that I liked very much about this picture is the color blending. It shows appreciation for the subject you're painting. Without you saying it, people could say it's your girlfriend...

pitzwig responds:

Thanks Joe, happy to hear it from you, you're quite an inspiration to me!

The subconciounse (sp?) is a powerful thing :)

Precognitive Commission?!

How do you actually can draw something that I would TOTALLY, with time, have asked you to draw if I had the guts to ask for it, when I hasn't even thought of it?
You're not only artistically talented... You're specially "gifted" too, and should go to Xavier's school to develop that ability...
Thank you honestly for something I've never asked (yet).

kevinsano responds:

some Precognitive Payment would come in handy... XD
j/k j/k

Every little thing you draw is magic (The Police)

A mi me están encantando tus ilustraciones.
Between the black drops, the curvy flames, the acid colors and the cute characters, this one remembers me of Junko Mizuno. If this is one of your influences, you have good taste, indeed.
Acabo de ver que eres una chica, asi que, dos besos.
¡Hasta otra!

iter-intergalactic responds:

Muchas gracias !
Aún no están excelentes mis ilustraciones
Soy autodidacta en esto del illustrator
I try to get better with practice

I'll check Junko Mizuno's work
Thank you very much
Cheers !

It's really nice!

You're bound for illustrating children's stories and textbooks, my good fellow.
This picture is full of elements that make my heart warm...
Love it. Sending you a handshake.

iter-intergalactic responds:

Thank you !
I really would like to become an illustrator
I have many things to learn

Well, you shouldn't worry for her...

... 'cause her style's allright! I love how your style's developing, The things that I most like are the face style (Dat Eyes :D), the attention to the clothing, and that skintone that gives the racial feel I think you're totally goin' for.
As for the things to improve... I think the limbs are not really that fine, look sorta stiff to me... And the hands should be definitely worked on.
If you allow me a piece of advice, try to draw a (fairly) big trapezoid shape and draw the four fingers inside (The thumb may stick out.). Don't bother too much for the joints at first. Just give it a try, you may find something interesting!
I'll be looking forward your next works.
(¡Oye! ¡Me has dado una idea! Me están entrando unas ganas tremendas de dibujar una Coatlicué... ¿Lo pruebo?)
Wish you well.

Quetzalcoatl-88 responds:

Thanks for the advice, man. All this sounds pretty useful. I'm always looking for ways I can improve, so I always appreciate constructive criticism. Wish you well as well.

Let's try the review system!

This one was probably the best entry in the collab so far (so far?!). This parody wouldn't have come out better. You make the Ape National Front proud.
And the collab is currently dead... Until we decide to reanimate it!

TurkeyOnAStick responds:

Aha! I found you! I've been looking for your work but I can't spell your name! (and I get sidetracked by this lovely portal)
