I dunno what to say... I diddnt screen shot a still from a bluray copy of the chipmunk movie and manipulated it if thats what you're asking.

Just time and patience and a 1-3 pixel brush in photoshop.

The jeans required some texture work, photoshop has a nice collection of texture overlays you can play around with and mix up to make the texture you want. The stitching on the jeans was just a custom brush making the steps far apart, then just making a path and applying a stroke to it....instant stitch.

hair and fur was just a few lines of colour, then a 1 pixel smudge brush.

The whole thing from start to finish probably took about 15-20 hours.

Worth worshipping.

I don't know if she can get any cooler than this. The brass colour fits her really well and the spiral carvings on her shoulders really add the extra detail she needed, probably something similar in the lower limbs and I'd say you have her ready to go.
And the background make you dream of the surreal journeys this character may undergo and makes you think on if the environment reacts to the character or viceversa.
My dear sir, congratulations: You have resurrected the spirit of Metal Hurlant.

a brushpen is basically just an inking pen with a brush tip. Get all the flair of inking with a brush, but with a little more control.

And how can you not love a series that starts like any generic kiddie show a-la-"Power Rangers" and ends like "Evangelion"? And Zero-Two was a terrific sequel! And Tamers and Frontier were also really cool! Data Squad's not so good... But it's OK, I guess...

Now, I can't really express how flattered and honored I feel about your words...
So hard that, between this line and the one above several minutes have passed and I don't really know what to say yet...
Naaah... Hell with fancy words! I love' em! They're charming, lovely and [CUTE] and [ADORABLE]!
A thing I particularly fancy about this picture is how each characters has a distinctive color palette that revolves around 3-4 primary colors... Don't know if these are custom characters or ready-to-play ones from CoH/CoV... But the way you used this feat is what really matters this time.
... And to me, it also works as a review from my work so far... Maybe because this comes in a moment I'm trying to figure out how to improve on my work...

I was in Newgrounds withdrawl for like two months. To put it plainly, not being able to submit art was mostly why I drew this.

In the afternoon of April 13th, numerous bystanders could witness the most shocking event of the season: Without previous warning, a white light render people sightless during some seconds, and then things return to normal after that. No physician or astronomist can explain the phenomenon at this moment.
Even more bizarre is that many of the witnesses claim to have seen something before this "whiteout" dimmed, though, their statements are vague and imprecise, just short detail descriptive words like: "green skin", "antennae" or "freckles".
According to their descriptions, our studio artist, Mandie LeScum, has drawn her interpretation of the subject seen. The witness have acknowleged the picture as the subject seen in the "whiteout".
