Apart from the really good news, I was attracted by the use of color for rendering the shapes since the very thumbnail... You know your tools, don't you.

Maybe it's time for some Shantae fanart, good ol' Bozon needs some support.

This is GOLD.

The golden calf turned into a holy COW.
This piece is great. It's really worth worshipping...

I'd always found hard to participate in the COW's due to the narrow deadlines... Obviously I'm not objecting the rules. It's only I can't work'em out faster now...

This one's has many charm. I can't help but to smile looking at all that happy expressions (Yeah, these dogs seem to smile when they open their mouths...).
I also like how the colors are applied. Not only is a good selection but also the strokes are bautifully executed. On the drawing, maybe the hand with the chopsticks look a bit weird... But this is not that much of a fault, especially considering all the good things you've already achieved in this pic.

It's a real pity, though, that next chinese Year of the Dog will be 2018...
This illustration would be so fitting...

Haha, you've hit a sweet spot.

I love these kind of girls, and I really dig the reflections and wrinkles on the costume. All that red is also really appealling to me. Well done!
... Although... I find the face is somewhat bland... That regular, thin line doesn't work at all with those simple facial features. It's be better a thicker line, or even better, a variable, brush type stroke...
The stylised body looks nice, anyway. I'd like to see you trying again this topic.

Yeah, I'd probably agree with you. I was just trying to make the head look as out of place as possible considering the subject matter.

You know, to emphasise the "oh god, why am I doing this, this is so stupid" aspect of the character.
